Situated in the main antique area in the centre of town, we have been established
here in Harrogate for over 30 years. Our medium sized premises on three floors offers a
wide range of English and Continental furniture and Decorative objects. We are perhaps
better known for dealing in clocks and barometers with a
good stock of longcase, bracket and carriage clocks, as well as Vienna, skeleton and wall
clocks.
The business is family run, being started by Hugh Thornton in 1972, his son Jason
came into the business after serving an apprenticeship with a well known cabinet maker,
having a years academic studies of the Fine and Decorative Arts in London, and a year
working for a very well known dealer in Southern California. We pride ourselves in
