A Very Fine Mahogany Repeating Table Clock by John Ellicott, London, circa 1760 The 6½ inch square silvered dial signed Ellicott, London with
stike/silent lever to the upper left corner, similarly signed five pillar, two train, bell
striking fusee movement with verge escapement, the backplate signed and engraved with leaf
scrolls and strapwork, inverted bell top case with brass carrying handle, moulded circular
brass bezel flanked by fine spandrels, brass-framed glazed side panels on very fine
scrolled and leaf gilded feet. 18½" high, 12" wide, 8" deep. Excellent
colour, original patination.
Provenance: Purchased by a collector from Sledmere House,
East Yorkshire.

A fine 18th century mahogany Bracket
Clock, by John Lyddon, circa 1770 The
8" arched dial with strike/silent and regulator dials in the arch within a silvered,
engraved and shaped dial, the main brass dial with fine spandrels, silvered chapter ring,
with Roman and Arabic numerals, an unusual date dial, signed in the centre, John Lyddon,
Fecit. The 8 day 5 pillar, two train, bell striking and pull repeat twin fusee movement
with verge escapement. The backplate finely engraved and again signed John Lyddon, Fecit.
The fine mahogany case of excellent colour and original patination, all in original
condition with no restoration, with brass gilded carrying handle, canted corners with
applied brass, scale side frets, raised on four bracket feet.
17.25" high, 12" wide, 7.5" deep
The movement cleaned tested and in good working order.

Early 19th century Scottish Mahogany
Bracket clock by J. & A. McNab, Perth, circa 1820
The 8" round painted dial with Roman numerals, the 8
day twin fusee movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell on the hour, with pull
repeat. The fine mahogany case with domed top and carved decoration, brass fretted fish
scale to the sides together with carrying handles, a decorative brass beaded insert to the
front, supported on four brass ball feet

The 8" painted dial with Roman
numerals, the twin fusee 8 day movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell on the
hour, with engraved backplate. The Gothic style case, with Gothic brass fretting to the
sides with lion head carrying handles, the front inlaid with boxwood stringing supported
on four brass bracket feet. 11½" wide, 7½" deep, 18¼" high
